REFLECT

This simple yet streamlined hand woven wall hanging features light colors with mauve tones and rustic orange lines. The name of this fiber piece has a dual purpose meaning.  It represents the vertical reflection of overlapping clouds on our family cabin pond, where it was created and inspired. Our trips to the cabin also give me the opportunity to reflect and inspire a majority of my work. Being miles and miles from civilization and completely self-reliant and off the grid means that I have a chance to reflect in a way that is otherwise impossible in my everyday modern life. No phones ringing, no emails to check, just working to maintain the 135 acres (fact check acres) that were homesteaded into my husband's family. I am so fortunate to have a place like this to decompress and recharge.
